Q-API

Container Ocean Tracking for Sea Shipments (BETA)

This feature operates outside of the Quincus Platform, through Quincus' API Gateway Service.
  • Link your sea shipments to ocean tracking* with PortCast Integration, enabling automated shipment milestone updates upon the completion of key events, such as when the ship has departed from the Port of Origin.

This update enables you to continue updating and tracking the progress of shipments even after they have been handed over to a third-party handler, ensuring complete visibility and accurate status updates throughout the entire shipment journey.


*This feature is currently available only for order creation via API. Stay tuned as we expand this functionality to other capabilities within the Quincus Platform.

We have enhanced the security of records access on the Quincus Platform Order Capability for Manual ID.

  • User A will not be able to view bulk orders imported by User B on the import Log, unless they have access to the same customer account.

We have enhanced the security of records access on the Quincus Platform Order Capability for Import List.

  • User A will not be able to create orders with manual IDs generated by User B.
  • User A will not be able to view, download, or print manual ID forms generated by User B, unless they have access to the same customer account.

Customer Portal

We have enhanced the security of order access on the Quincus Customer Portal 

  • Users attempting to track an order belonging to a different organization or customer account will be restricted from viewing order details, and will not have access to edit or print functions for that order.

Fixes are corrections made to bugs and defects that were reported on the Quincus Platform between the previous release and the current release.
